As of January 16, 2024, the Venice Access Contribution portal is active. The Access Contribution is the €5 fee introduced by the City of Venice, to be paid by casual visitors, on some specific days and times in 2024.
DAYS: April 25-30, May 1-5, May 11-12, May 18-19, May 25-26, June 8-9, June 15-16, June 22-23, June 29-30, July 6-7, July 13-14.
HOURS: 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Before 8:30 a.m. and after 4 p.m. Access to Venice is free.
NB The fee does not apply to children under the age of 14, who can enter free of charge with the presentation of an ID.
TO PAY: simply go to the portal, select the date of your choice and enter your contact information (email or phone) to receive your ticket and pay by credit card or Paypal. Reservations can be cancelled up to the day before the chosen date.
